The owners wanted a comfortable home afloat, and this they have got. The layout provides ample space for two people to live aboard, with room for guests for the day. And if need be two people could sleep on beds on the saloon floor. All this has been achieved on a length of 59ft, which gives the boat the ability to cover the whole of the system.

The standard of finish is excellent, as in the attention to detail, while the interior design is stylish but not too modern. Fernwood do not quote a fixed price for their boats, as each one is individual, but as a rough guide, a boat of this length to a 'standard' finish would cost in the region of £85,000 inc VAT.

 This includes spray foam insulation, the best product if you are living aboard all year round, and all the joinery details. Extras on this boat included the generator, cooker and bow-thruster.
